I'm back in Thailand now from a visit to Hungary and can report a good vibe in the country and overwhelming approval for the government standing strong against rampant, unchecked and incompatible immigration. See also the video of the interview Orban gave this week- very clear in his position, very strong arguments. He also reiterated that any sane country wants another country between themselves and Russia.

In the Cold War, Polish farmers made a point of pride to use horses instead of tractors. If a farmer had a tractor he had made a deal with the -Communist- United Socialist Party with strings attached. He was a collaborator. Let me step back a bit. The -United Nations- United States response in the Korean War was such that it strained the Soviet Empire. The "union leaders" (a fiction) told the workers that to support the proletariat of Korea they would have to have to work some overtime every week on war production and it would be unpaid overtime. There was an immediate nationwide strike. Now, as in the Soviet Union every communal farm had a clause the the farmers could dissolve it. Of course you can guess how anyone proposing that would be reeducted. But almost all of the communal farms did that overnight. Stalin knew he would overplay his hand if he crushed Poland again. He conceded (1) No slave labor overtime. (2) Replacing the puppet president with Gomułka who was a moderate puppet president. (3) Letting the Poles become kulaks. (4) Letting the Polish Army have a chaplain's corps. Poland became the bread basket of the Soviet Empire and there were decades of peace. I suppose the EU's mandates on farmers remind the Poles of Stalin.

Brussels have unlocked the 137 billion Euros from the EU and our government is saying we cannot afford building railroad system (and we could 6 months ago), we cannot afford building nuclear power plant (and we could 6 months ago), we cannot afford building big international airport (and we could 6 months ago), we cannot afford keeping VAT tax on food to 0% (we could 6 months ago) etc. Where the hell is this 137 billion Euros going to then if we can't afford anything?

Hi buddy, I worked in the Middle East for 3 years. What pleasantly surprised me was how much respect many of these people had for Westerners. Unfortunately you can’t respect someone who no longer respect themselves. Western people have abandoned their Christian god for “consumerism” and a “throw away society”. I have much respect for the Poles. My only hope is that you put aside your animosity to your Russian neighbours, learn to get along and do not drag everyone else in Europe to another war. Falling birth rates are a real issue in Europe, especially within the Caucasian population. The birth rate needs to increase within this group and governments need to put in place policies that encourage marriage and tax breaks for having children. The breaks would only apply to at least third generation citizens!
