Loved the video guys. I wonder if so many Polish people came to the Cleveland area for the salt mines? They have miles of them under Lake Erie and they pump salt brine up from wells in the Akron, OH area (about 25 to 30 miles south of Cleveland) and then evaporate t he water out of it. It is a major component for making plastics and synthetic rubber for tires. I always thought that the steel mills and heavy forge shops brought most of the East Europeans to the area. A smaller number of the steel mills are left and the salt mines are still in operation. There are no tours of either in Cleveland.

Aren't the boutique hotels in Poland just amazing? Such attention to details. A year ago - I have discovered a great boutique hotel in the heart of Warsaw. It occupies the former Soviet Embassy building on ul. Poznanska and it's called the H15 Boutique Hotel. Huge rooms/1 bedroom apartments that are all decorated individually. I was going to stay at the hotel Bristol, but I'm glad that I changed my mind, at the last minute. And as for the salt mine in Wieliczka - I was able to visit it for the very first time, only in 2012 and it's something really incredible. Hard to imagine how it was made...
