Mr. Agarwal, I'm from Afghanistan living in india. I will apply for poland student visa through the embassy in Delhi. My inquiry is regarding financial documents. My mother will sponsor me (she lives in Afghanistan). But the thing is that we dont have credit card limit system in Afghanistan and banks don't provide any such document. So will providing the bank certificate confirming the required amount along with the Bank Statement acceptable? I asked the Poland Embassy about this issue but they just replied me to check the checklist.

Unfortunately, you have to abide by the rules and point number 9 in the checklist mentions all the documents which are acceptable. You can check if some bank will issue travellors checks in Afghanistan. You can visit ICICI, SBI and see if they can help you out.

Please stop talking to consultancies and random people in Poland. Go to the embassy's website, download the checklist and read point 11 - Additional documents. The important word here is additional, everyone who applies for the Visa is required to submit 9 documents, 10 if they are a minor. Now, as you know a lot of students are applying to study in Poland. If you want to set yourself apart, you should show some additional documents like your IELTS exam score (above 7.5).

Hi Tarang, im actually from state board and i was supposed to get my 12th certificate this week. I couldn’t get a visa slot so i asked the embassy and they gave me a slot on 19th august. But my college says that they’ll provide me with the 12th certificate during the 3rd week of august. I strongly think that you have been scammed. The embassy dosent "give" appointment slots, they are allocated based on a draw since 2nd July. If you think you haven't been scammed, please send a detailed email to [e-mail].

My university has only provided the certificate of acceptance and visa letter through the portal, and I have printed them out. I plan to submit these printed copies at my visa appointment the day after tomorrow. Is this acceptable? The documents are original and authentic, printed directly from the portal. You will have to plead your case to them, try to get a completely new copy via e-sanand. Legally, your original should be apostilled but if there is some issue like lamination, you need to get a new copy of your degree, and that you need to get the apostilee on. Anyway, if you stick to your photocopy and it's apostille. You'll need to plead your case, I wish you the best.

Yes, its fine. Tuition fee and Credit card limit are not related. Credit Card limit is a factor of 12 months of Rent + Food, + 2500 PLN for flight back to India.

If you have a MOI (Medium of Intruction) cenrtificate issued by your college then you won't need to take IELTS (in most cases). The best answer to this question is given by the International office of the University you're applying to, so ask them.

Hi Tarang, Along with the sponsorship document (Affidavit) We don’t have to attach anything apart from that? Like ITR of last 2 years of parent sponsoring. The thing is my father is retired and he gets pension, Currently he is a freelancer and work on several projects. So I am confused what exactly to do? I am going for Masters. I have Credit card my own 7 lakhs limit, Edu loan sanctioned and Additionally attaching Sponsorship document as well to make my application look stronger as age factor can play against me, I am 28 now.

@vivian4526 Better to call/email the embassy. However, since it is a card issued to him/her by their employer, it is directly intended for his/her work-related expenses. Therefore, in my opinion he/she can't give you this card. Edit - IMO, unless you work for him/his company, it makes no sense that the he/the company is sponsoring you.
