Can you appeal if the decision is negative? : Foreigners, who are dissatisfied with the decision of the Voivode, may appeal to the Head of the Office for Foreigners (UdsC) in Warsaw, through the Voivode who issued the decision. Written appeal should be filed within 14 days from the date of receipt of the decision. The foreigner may appeal against the decision of the Head of the Office for Foreigners in the administrative court within 30 days from the date of receipt of the decision. Filing an appeal at the administrative court does not constitute a legalisation of the stay. This means that, unless the foreigner has another valid document authorising them to stay in Poland, they should leave Poland in such case. Can you apply for dependent TRC on their behalf, without they being physically present in Poland? : If the foreigner resides outside the territory of the Republic of Poland, the application for granting temporary residence permit for the purpose of family reunification shall be made by a foreigner residing in Poland, who will receive the family member. Making the application by a family member of the foreigner requires a written consent thereof or their legal representative consent, unless the applicant is legal representative thereof. Expression of the consent is equal with granting the foreigner residing within the territory of Poland power of attorney for acting on behalf of the family member in the given proceedings. Presence of the aforementioned family members shall be obligatory after issuance of the decision on granting temporary residence permit, at making the application for issuance of a residence card, for the purpose of provision of fingerprints thereby.

@Sayali, job well done, however, a factual correction, @7:11 you say one cannot apply for TRC without being present, because of biometric, which I am afraid is not correct, biometric takes place at time of TRC collection and not application, secondly in case of family reunification (this is a request to apply for the spouse/children TRC for a blue card {niebeiska karta UE} TRC holder), one can apply for the TRC on behalf of their spouse, without the spouse being present, once the TRC is approved there will be a short visa given for the spouse/child in home country and they can arrive in Poland to collect the card, yes, at that time their biometric will be taken. So in summary, you need to be always present for TRC collection and may/may not be during application (on case by case basis). Moreover the "physically present" condition is not applicable for less than say 4 year old kid as well...Nevertheless, I must say a good initiative, keep it up !!!

No, work permit is different than TRC !!! work permit means company sponsored letter to allow you to work in poland where as TRC helps to stay(Visa) in poland. TRC only can be apply if you have work permit and once you have TRC for 3 years then no need to extend visa every year.

rohit uppin yes you can after posting fees. Mostly it does not get rejected and if it does then you can appeal. And polish language is not needed during TRC process.

Hi, very good video, I got a doubt. If someone holds one year visa and applies for TRC in the very first month after coming Poland. As you said decision can be negative and may take 4-5 months time, and if decision is negative, has to leave Poland within 30 days of decision. But in this case visa will still be valid for rest 7-8 months or visa will become invalid for stay?

Passport stamp will be done at Immigration office in poland once you submit all your valid documents

Foreigners can submit applications and required documents on their own. This all without a need of an assistant that charges extra money for their presence. The stamp duty (administrative fee for TRC) can be done at cash counter, called “KASA”, in Department of Foreigners or via bank transfer (a printed confirmation should be attached to the application form).
