I'm proud of the Finnish government. They've shown more courage than any other democracy. I take issue with calling Chinese and Russian sabotage operations as 'hybrid warfare' though. Intentionally damaging another country's infrastructure is a clear act of war, and should be treated as such.

Poland is still only beginning to learn about the usefulness of safety and environmental rules. It is a very good sign that it mentions these rules in this report. The previous Polish government persistently taught the people that this is all a nonsense of NGOs, Soros and Brussels.

The first problem is the widespread use of the word "hybrid war". Those are acts of war, and our governments should respond accordingly. Russia uses other weapons than bombs and missiles, but the effects of sabotage are not very different from the effects of bombing power plants. Of course, I'm not suggesting that we should detain and confiscate all ships that leave Russian ports, ot any other excessive means. But we should do something else than just watch the rusty and unseaworthy 20 year old single hull tankers without insurance transport oil via one of world's most fragile marine ecosystems and deliberately damage our submarine infrastructure while doing so.
