The interviewer doesn't seem to be interested in listening to the answers. He interrupted the person being interviewed too much. It's really bad. He seems to be trying to score points for what he says rather than let the person answer the questions. What was he trying to to do. Control the interview too much it seemed. Inexperienced interviewers or interviewers afraid of the whole interview itself do this kind of thing. Rather than worry about the next question during the interview it is better to go with the flow. The interview should be giving the interviewee the chance to say all the things they want to say. Not interrupting them

Because “military Keynesianism” is well-defined technical term with a long history that perfectly describes what’s going on in Russia? “Keynesianism” doesn’t mean “good”, “sensible”, or “sound”, you know. On paper it used to mean that a state with low or debt and low or no transfer subsidies could and should spend extra money (through loans or money printing if necessary) in bad times (increase money supply) and extract money from the economy by ending such transfers and through taxes and by reducing loans to companies and private people (shrinking money supply) in good times. In practice, it quickly changed to “spend a lot in bad times and also spend a lot in good times + pretend that consumption is investment + continue to do so even when taxes are very high and state debts are very, very high”. Modern Keynesianism is usually a bad idea.
