I watched a video of Russia special forces ambushing Ukrainian vans and trucks cars etc with pkms and other machine guns and it was fucken sad to see atleast 30 Ukrainians dead in about 2 and a half mins. A car can't even stop a slug gun pellet.

My own thoughts. But I wonder when this footage is from? I think it's from May 2023. Those are the tall buildings in the Western part of Bakhmut. Prigozhin _(Rest In Pieces)_ claimed full Wagner control of all of Bakhmut on May 21st. The Ukrainians were still there, in a controlled withdrawal. The last Ukrainians I heard of evacuated the town on May 25th. I haven't heard any records of Ukrainian forces returning to this area, yet. So I guess it's from mid-May 2023. Any ideas?

Yeah it was. One estimate is that UKR is suffering about as many casualties as RU, and given RU is about 2.5x bigger, that's not good. It's why the West needs to give UKR more modern weapons. If UKR loses this battle besides emboldening Putler, it will cause a lot of finger pointing.

Yes. I do hope so. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights said in her preliminary assessment that there is substantial evidence of Russia's systemic commission of torture, rape, genocide and more war crimes. This is the first time in my professional career that such an assessment has been made of a state with the magnitude of Russia given its status on the UNSC and other international organizations. It's incredible how much Putin and his MoD, just doesn't care. Russia is going down in ways it never could have imagined in the early 1990s - that fall will be a cake walk compared to this one.

They didn't try to save anything - everyone on board that Russian tank was dead in the first five seconds after it brewed up. Debris (and probably part of the driver's burning corpse) got jammed into the controls and the tank kept on rolling. It's not that unusual.

The lucky Russians got out of the country and some still somewhat lucky ones serve 2 years in jail for not answering the call. Too many were conned into becoming meat shields for Putin's insanity. Ukrainians really have no choice since it's their backyards getting bombed by invaders.
