Seeing this movie in theatres when it came out and in 3D is an experience I’ll never forget. Seriously tho moment, that roller coaster moment, and the beginning where the train comes out of the fog seeing those in 3D was amazing!

Fun fact! If the polar express actually happened, I would have exploded on the skiing scene. With the way steam engine boilers work, there is always a few inches of water above the firebox. This is because the fire gets so hot it could melt the metal, so the water it is there to keep it cool, but during this scene, with the downward angle, the train was at, all that water would have been thrown to the front on the engine, exposing the bare metal to the extreme heat so that when the water was forced back, it would instantly vaporize into steam, violently ripping the engine apart!
