Great and reliable. review. I find Polar watches have a great sleep tracking compared to other watches even Garmin and miss that feature.

great points . very helpful review! even though its lacking in some points . it shines in others! 🎉🎉i dont ever use navigation or other tools but i mainly use the hrv and sleep tracking as my go to's !

It's amazing how the industry has been evolving in a matter of a year or even less, at this point in time the Grit X Pro was a very good watch, even compared to newer models like the Suunto 9 Peak Pro, and just like that one year later it feels dated, mainly because of the advancements the companies have been doing in terms of navigation. Even as of now I find it an attractive watch with good metrics and ecosystem, the navigation is not that much of a deal by my particular case scenario because the times I need a map I'm using my bike computer, however a map with context is a good addition nonetheless and Polar really needs to work on that end and quite a lot to be on pat with the competition for its new model, and such a model should not be very far away to keep its customers.

i think current price on suunto 9 peak pro is best regarding what you can get. IF you dont chase for brand, amazfit is amazing. I own amazfit t-rex pro gen1 and suunto 7. 7 is great competitor to apple watch while amazfit trex is like smart g shock lol
