I had the Whites DFX before buying the V3i which I still have for my backup detector. Multi-frequency is the way to go!!

Your DFX is not as good as the MXT pro with ground grab its a good detector the dfx but the mxt pro has better technology for gold nuggets but maybe you just hunt coins and relics

Good Video, I just got a V3I Love it. I am still learning how to use it. I wish I knew more about moving the settings around like Gain, Theshold, TX, SAT, Analysis etc

White's Spectra V3i manual has information about the 'wrap around'. Do you have any information to expound on this issue? I own the White's Spectra V3i, and will never sell it. I believe there is no metal detector that has anything to offer that the V3i does not have. I also have the Equinox 800 and I believe it compliments the V3i. Thanks for the video!

I been looking at hrs and hrs ov videos on the whites and comparing it to the minelab stuff truth be told I almost got an minelab detector but this v3i is a beast and really has every feature u could ask for in a detector plus I seen a guy detect a half dollar sized coin like 2 1/2 feet in the ground with the 13 in coil or the 12 I can't remember but I know what detector I'm getting and my mx5 is a great little machine too

How did you set up the V3i to have Polar Plot rather than the Analyze Screen?

Have you used polar plot instead of the spectograph to "search" with and if so how do you get polar plot to search faster?

mstreasureseeker I have not and really wouldn’t recommend it as polar plot is only reliable to 6” depth.

None get the whites MXT pro your set simple and very powerful in finding everything gold, coins,and relics.heak of a detector I prospect for gold with mine and it's an awsom detector for that and I also look for coins great detector and way easier to use and does as much and more
