Hey Jerry, I love the cart! I used it to bring a LOT of yard debris to our burn spot, and we burned a LOT of material today in a very short time! I used the cart to go out to the areas where I downed limbs and such from trees, and I brought those to the burn location - ever time I got the cart unloaded and the fire fed, it was time to get another load!

Very nice piece of equipment. I think I'd like one of these but storage is at a premium. I'll be looking this product up after your video. Can't wait to see the trailer in use. So where's your motorcycle; in for service? Keep on plugging away, Ray. I do like the open lawn area behind you. Later and thumbs up.

The Honda ST1300 is in a garage waiting for me to deliver a new battery to it (I purchased the battery, I just need to go install it and ride the bike back home here). The garage is a house garage. Our aunt lives in the house across the street from our former homes and office, but we maintained possession of the garage - which is where the bike is napping! I understand that the area I live in has wonderful riding opportunities, so I will have to check it out! On the Polar cart - I used it a LOT today for a controlled burn - bringing a LOT of material to the burn site. Today was a very long day - and I am shocked at how fast a burn gets rid of debris!
@houndsmanone45636 жыл бұрын
Nice work on the burn pile. That's something I'd love to have but I live in a completely wooded area so I will not even light a candle outside (well, a little extreme). There is no ban on fires here but as mentioned, I hate to take a chance while living in the middle of pine tree infested wooded area and coated throughout the forest floor are tons of dried pine needles. S I hope you can see what I mean. So I'm a bit envious not having an area to burn. Yep, just finally rode the bike for it's inspection so now she sits waiting for a good long jaunt Okay, Ray...keep on plugging. I'll be plugging along on my clearing project as well. I think I'll have it all cleared in 2 weeks. Later
@rayhayden6 жыл бұрын
We had actually purchased a wood chipper because we are so afraid of the fire issues. I used KZbin and searched all of the safe requirements around the country and we had stuff on the property (looks like large watering tubs), and we used a smaller one inside a larger one to run the burn. We easily meet all of the setbacks, and I soaked the ground around the burn - and we stayed with it all day. What shocked both of us is that the burn took out so much material in such a short period of time. Looking at where you are, I would agree, it would be very nerve racking for me to do a burn there. We are trying to return the wood chipper now because it has issues, and BECAUSE those issues are so bad, we attempted the burn in the first place... the burn makes the chipper useless to us - and the cart allows me to bring all of the cuttings and debris to the central burn site.

Great video. Has the trailer been holding up ok.
@rayhayden3 жыл бұрын
Yes it has. I note some rust here and there on the frame, so I will have to address that. Someone had noted an issue with the welding. I am taking note of that now as well. Where I hook up to the Toro Mower, the welded connection is going to fail at some point, but I will probably get a bit of square tubing and fix that.

Ray Hayden ... is that a cruising or crotch rocket Style?
@rayhayden6 жыл бұрын
If you Google 2007 ST1300, the first image on the top left looks like the one I have. I added NOTHING to it. It is referred to as a Sport Touring bike. The bike has a 7.7 Gallon tank, but it is not the hump you might think is the tank - it is actually a split tank setup - I can ride over 300 miles on it without fueling up. The windscreen is operational while riding with a thumb switch. It rides more upright than crotch rocket, and - having a drive shaft - it is never going to beat a racing bike - it is also heavy - 750 pounds!
