Hopefully this will come up when people search "how to" as it's well done. as well as highlighting potential problem areas. stuck, too tight, damaged, and the wear surface of the left side spacer on the axle being replaceable. while in there, check or replace the zerk, and i covered the outside of the carrier bearing housing with anti seize or grease as it's aluminum and corrodes. mine has pitting i wanted to stop. To people (like me) wanting to service it, but not spend $, repacking the bearings is acceptable, but the grease seals are to keep water and dirt out, not grease in. so you get what you pay for. brown = contaminated = high wear. Tube holds a LOT of grease, be warned. 150 ft/lbs is a ton, prybar to hold the rear of the quad down.

Can a Rear shock and spring from a polaris scrambler 400 fit a polaris xplorer 400? Both are the same year

I would say yes but, Not 100% sure. Depends on the year. Pre 1999 yes post 1999 maybe.
