Polaris EVO RMK rear suspension mod

I did all those mods recently (nov,2020), plus i put in 2012 rmk800 front shocks, the a-arms adjusted out to their max will fix camber issue, and i put a gbb trail can in it, plus a new cdi to destrict it, it does 139kmh on the stand now compared to 80kmh. A new gates belt is an inch shorter and it gained 10kmhr faster speed. Ohh and i put a duel gauge egt with probes in.

I do have a question about the rails between the EVO and the Pro Rmk Axys 155". Is it the same bend rise in the front between the rails?

As far as I could tel yest they look to have the same bend.

Great video. Did you have to drill any of the holes to reposition the rear suspension? If so what were the measurements? Are the Axys Shocks and EVO Shocks the same length? Just stiffer springs?

In the front hole we just moved it to the bottom hole, in the back we did drill a new hole I’ll have to check for sure but I think we were down an inch and a half. I did not measure the shocks on the rear suspension to see if they were the same length.

Did you do the 36” swap ? Did you reuse the evo shocks in the front and the skid or did you different shocks?

Yes I put the AXYS front end on with the AXYS shocks, it put the front end a little to high so I switched back to the stock EVO shocks with the narrow front end and the sled felt a lot better. The rear end I used the stock rear shocks, I let the limiter strap out a little bit and drilled the mounting holes down an inch.

@@Just3adventures if you raise up the front end with shocks or a-arms you will want to drop it to keep the sled leveled out.

Worked out well, ended up putting some axys a-arms on the front end which narrowed it up and raised the front end up a little too.
