Polaris Indy Storm 800 Snowmobile (BRUTAL SOUND)

Shaky video. But good sound quality. Polaris Indy Storm is an old wolf in sheep's clothing. This video, which is now several years old, shows me playing around with this classic brutal and very loud snowmobile in Sweden. I'm not sure whether it really has 150 hp, or just a 130... something, as some people have pointed out... anyway, start the video and listen to the noise of the storm!

if stock, your wrong storm in wedge chassis doesnt have 150hp, agressive chassis (96-98) have 146hp. 94 storm 138hp 95 storm 132hp

It depends what you do to the sleds I have a 94 completely gone through the motor boarded 30 over has the cast iron original sleeves runs like a rape date I had a hundred 50 psi this thing really rips depending on the gaskets you put in put in the cylinder heads each cylinder cost for more caskets on the top half there's no need for that if you run a single gasket on each one compression ratio is amazing little harder to pull over that's why they design I need cylinder to run each cylinder with one 2 two three gaskets I need cylinder it makes a big difference on the compression for performance

It depends on what you have I have one for sale with the M10 suspension and the front end kit completely rebuilt bored 30 over mine is a 94 depending on the nickel sell First cast iron

im pretty sure its the gearing and the horsepower that the track puts out...no chassis is going to affect the horsepower...

FrankieJames7 it's nothing to do with the chassis 96-98 have different pipes than the older storms they've got more hp from nicasil cylinders digital ignition & they're jetted different & springs and weighs are also different plus they're all around better sleds delta v force reeds really wake them up I ride a 96

96 to 98 don't have the same engine than the 95 and least... i know the chassis don't give engine hp...

The44445544 actually it does just that. The 95 engine was physically the same as the 96+ once the updates were done. When they went to aggressive chassis it gave more room for bigger pipes to.let the engine breathe more. The only other difference was the stator and ignition box. The CDI had a different timing curve in it to work with the better pipes.
