This is fantastic. I’ve got the same bike and faced MANY of the same issues. Thanks for the video!

BMC Outside Hehe, no worries! Mine has been a project ever since I bought it. One quick note, if you notice oil leaks, watch the hoses at the radiator. The OEM setup was prone to deteriorate and leak. I replaced mine with the braided steel hoses and haven’t had problems, EXCEPT for the removal of the dang things. The oil cooler radiator is particularly weak at the joint and if the threads to the hose are on tight, you might just do what I did and accidentally rip the radiator top in half trying to get the dang hoses off. Anyways, been a pretty decent little bike. Hope you’re enjoying yours.

Good video but certainly wouldn’t of hurt to spray some WD-40 before twisting bolts and screws

Is part 2 coming? ;) I’m in need of replacing the spark wire but can’t figure out where the ignition coil end is mounted. I’m hoping to not have to remove all the front panels. Any thoughts?

Parke Gregg Yes part two will be along very soon.......at last! I’m not sure off the top of my head but I’ll have a look for you and let you know my findings!

Mine doesn’t want to go into park or high do you know how to fix that
@bmcoutside84465 жыл бұрын
Hunter Poucher There should be a spring attached to the rear brake pedal, that pulls on a shaft when you press the brake down, which allows you to engage park and high. The spring could be over stretched, if so try pulling the shaft down by hand and engaging park. If it works you just need a new spring.

This video would be so much more helpful if you actually said what you were doing and what tools you’re using. Just my opinion

Casey Olson I’m planning to add some voice over for part two, not the whole video, just for the parts that aren’t obvious what I’m doing!
