Polaris should pay you because you fixed/manufactured/made better every damn thing that sucks about Polaris and it’s a lot!! That thing is sharp as hell, nicely done! Forgot to add, JL is the only way to go, been using them for 30 years. More expensive? Yeah. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I don’t even look at any other audio equipment.

You mentioned you drilled the fly weights on the injection pump governor and shortened the spring. I was wondering what size drill bit and how far in the weight or did you drill all the way through. How much did you shorten the spring. Very cool build. I’m working on a crew diesel I’m aiming to turbo and increase power. 👍🏻

Is the glow plug light on a diesel ranger just like a check engine light on a normal ranger 800 or do the diesels have a check engine light too along with the glow plug light?

What lift kit and shocks are you running. i have the yanmar as well superATV has only 2in kit for diesel

It’s a turner 8” lift. Everything is the same as a 800xp from the same years of production except for the rear inner axle cups. Those would have to be from a earlier 700xp with the same style rear diff. And also the transmission is from the 800 sportsman ATV so if you ever break a reverse chain you can do a high lifter chain or I believe turner makes one that’s alittle bigger for the ATV transmission.

Nice bike man ! Alot of detail hey i have a question I have 2014 polaris ranger diesel crew And the stock clutch is problematic. For some reason it wont let me shift while its on. Have you ever had that problem before on your bike with the stock clutch ?

Gabriel Villarreal Many of times man, seriously the beat thing you can do is get a duracutch. The factory clutch and any other aftermarket clutch just can’t do the job with the rpm range of a diesel. But for starts make sure your idle is between 850-1000rpm. Anything higher than that it will try to slightly engage on you. There could be misalignment issues also with your clutch but that shouldn’t of changed all the sudden ya know ? But the end all be all is she duraclutch.

UTV Upgrade They are the assault led rzr 900 head lights. In order to get them to fit the Ranger you have to modify them a little. I have a new pair in the box I’d sell if your interested

TrainFaner 569 It’s a very basic mechanical injection diesel, so it can run pretty much any blend of diesel. And most polaris rangers are gas. The diesels are for more of the fleet industry. They have significantly less power to them “not near as sporty” as the gas versions

Hows the torque for trails/work use? Sporty is nice but not necessarily for my needs it would get me in trouble lol.

Andrew Boore It has a ton of torque, with the clutches set up properly it just crawls and with the duraclutch it never slips the belt even when doing like 1 mph. Never even smelt clutch pads. And check out my newest video of me racing my brother on his 2018 teryx 800 with 30% gear reduction an 33” m3 tires. Yes it’s a turtle race but considering what mine was stock it’s very impressive lol

Yeah it’s a turner cycles 8”. Kinda custom, not a lift people really demand anymore. Besides the back axles it would be the same as a ranger 800xp.

Dude I would love to have something like that but right now gonna keep driving the 2011 800xp... hahaha but would like to know what/where you got the center console. That is one nice rig would look good with my F350. Lol

Gr8whitailhunter Polaris used to make them, I got it back in 2013 or so from the dealer. For whatever reason they stopped making them though and I looked for years for a buddy of mine one and never even seen a used one..... it’s a shame lol

Joe Meier Load screw removed, drilled out governor weights with a stiffer spring, and full cut delivery valves. On 10psi of boost it never clears up, if you watch my newer video of a race against my brothers 2018 teryx with portals and 33’s you’ll see it’s much better at 22psi. Almost no smoke on full boost
