I use a ranger with tracks at a ski area all winter and climb some very steep runs. The secret to climbing is to go SLOW. If the tracks start to slip...Stop, then start up again. Whenever the tracks slip you have to ease off the gas to regain traction.

to bad thats not deep snow" MAYBE a foot at best. Try this in Buffalo NY IN 4 FOOT OF SNOW.....
