I jus got the high lifter but started thinking in some cases the factory can help if you think on the lines if momentum the stock one will slide up a object an at the point of impact your tire is hitting half way up where the high ones the hole tire hits solid could end up being harder on axles an knuckles an bearings an might in some cases keep from the tire from being able to get up on it jus something I've started thinking lol wished I would've have thought before spending a thousand dollars lol that the sickness of wheeling you can't build the ultimate rig one will also do something better than the other guess that why it fun no matter how much money you got you can still compete some what jus something to ponder on
@GrimRZR Жыл бұрын
If you plan on hitting those ledges with speed maybe. High clearance will usually crawl over stuff better and bump over better. It does seem like sliding up a stock arm would work it just doesn't

@GrimRZR I agree that why bought then I. Jus saying it does make sense in some cases

I just put the LW trailing arms on my '18 XPT 2-seater, and did not have to unbolt the radius rods, axle, caliper...nothing. You point out that you can only install these arms on a Turbo S without unbolting everything.....Just givin' ya and others a headsup maybe. Ride on!
@GrimRZR Жыл бұрын
Sweet. How do you like them so far
@motoracerx1418 Жыл бұрын
@GrimRZR Well, they look good on the machine sitting in the garage. Haven't rode it yet...:) I had SATV HC trailing arms and they were fine except my Walker evans mini sway bar links/shocks didn't exactly fit and I had to McGyver them and I just wasn't happy with how I did the setup....So that's why I switched to the LW. HC trailing arms are definitely a must IMO for mountainous trails in southern KY and TN which is where I mostly ride.

How about at high speed dunes/desert? Handle like stock?

Not sure. I don't do any of that style riding. Wish I could help more

hows that vulcanized tire holding up?

So far so good. Haven't had any issues. I bet it last the rest of that tires life

Did it come with spherical bearings like the highlighters from UTV source?
@GrimRZR2 жыл бұрын
Im not familiar with what those come with
@SXShub2 жыл бұрын
@@GrimRZR ahh ok, well did your l&w trailing arms come with everything needed or did you have to buy bearings. The highlifter apexx ones are sold on UTV source.. trying to decide between the 2 both have Greta reviews but about a $200 difference in price
@GrimRZR2 жыл бұрын
@@SXShub they came with the little bearing that goes to the chassis side. Not the ones that go into the hub

@@SXShub I really like them. Can't compare with the others since I haven't seen them. They are also local to me so I try and support local companies when I can

@@GrimRZR ahhh ok, doing a crap ton of upgrades to the 2021 pro xp ultimate I bought last year. What hub bearings did you buy?

what did you use to make the upper radius arms and rear plate shine like chrome? looks good! now I may need the trailing arms . always good videos! keep up the good work

Mother's aluminum polish. They make a polishing ball to put on a drill that works good too

Yes it just makes so sense to me on the turbo s’s they have the bulky trailing arms(yes I know it’s because they say there are built tougher so they made them thicker). But then on a regular rzr turbo or 1000 they have the ones that almost look like high clearance trailing arms with more clearance, make no sense lol
@GrimRZR3 жыл бұрын
These are higher than the regular turbo arms too. For riding anything rough they are a must

I noticed you have limit straps in the rear. Do you run them in the front also? Here in the desert I only run them in the front. Good video 👍🏻
@GrimRZR3 жыл бұрын
I do. I had to limit the rear since I'm running turbo S suspension and turbo shocks. It works great for what I do

I've tried contacting L and W by email 4 times and phone calls. Never have received a response. I want a cage from them. But, apparently they don't want or need my business.
@GrimRZR3 жыл бұрын
Not sure what they have going on. Have you tried to order it online from their site? Nowadays it seems like it's hard to actually get ahold of anyone on the phone. I guess I'm lucky I can just drive over there

@@GrimRZR The cage I want always says "out of stock." That's why I've tried contacting them. I would pay and wait for them to build it. Vent racing is 20 minutes from my house. I'm going to have them build a cage for me.
