How did you get the brake pads apart so you could slide the caliper all the way down on the rotor? You just show you instantly on the rotor and tightening it up????

Carefully put it back together. Hopefully you didnt bend the C-clip.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpjQlY2LrMqhg68 If it isnt coming out hit the side of the cup when you have the strap a tight as you can get it. It does take some work. Wrap the tuck the strap in under the cup the best you can and wrap twice.

What if the axle is frozen into the diff and a slide hammer won’t do the job?

DONT DO THIS!!!! CAUTION DONT DO THIS CAUTION!!!!!! I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY! More times than not you will pull your CV joint apart! If it is frozen in then look up how to pull it with a ratchet strap. A secret for you. When you get the strap tight as hell. Hit the cup that is stuck one the side with a hammer and it should pop out!
