Polaris Sportsman 570 sp lube the suspension chassis

A quick overview on greasing the zerk fittings, grease fitting or grease nipple on a Polaris Sportsman 570 sp atv. Found 6 grease fittings on back and 6 on front, one on prop shaft. Usually will help get rid of squeaks when riding and help the bushings hopefully last a bit longer with a smoother ride.

My 2021 570 utility has sealed bearings, thus no zerks. Book still said grease the U joint, but darned if I knew where it was. This video helped out, as it is the same place!

1:30....its for the slip yoke splines....it does not get grease into the u-joint

Darn with Polaris, my 24 570eps have no suspension grease fittings, all the damn bushing and pivot points are squeeky (rubber on metal) and no way to grease them other than pull each one apart one by one.... Cost savings yet the price goes up each year

We would have that issue every once in a while even with the grease points but greasing em up definitely helped a bit.

After owning a Japanese (Honda) recon for 15 years, you can't compare Polaris to honda. I come to accept the Polaris is just sloppy loose tolerances, squeeks etc is just the nature of the polairs sportmans. On the other hand my honda has seen probably 5000 miles + no squeeks, rattles, driveline slop etc. However the polairs wins in ride quaulty and the eletric streering is a blessing, won't ever not have EPS. My Polaris is brand new (now 15 hours) it rattles, squeeks, sloppy sounding dirge train but I still really enjoy it

Good question, didn’t think about that or even know that that were various sizes as all of our grease gums fit no issue

I usually do it whenever I hear any squeaking or odd sounding coming from the chassis

Manual says every 500 miles for shaft , suspension I do every 3 rides , if you pressure wash them the manual says after each wash

At 20 hours of easy riding my rear end squeks like crazy. And it's coming from a spot with out a place to apply grease...

Are you guys sure about the newer 570 not having them? I just bought a 2022 850 and it has them. How many pumps do you suggest on the suspension? I heard you say 3 on the shaft I was going to do 3 on the suspension. What do you guys think? I pressure washed the quad today and I am going to try to grease it tomorrow.
