Does your Polaris Sportsman 700 EFI Twin need a new voltage regulator rectifier? They can fail and let down your charging system, and damage your stator.
Follow along with Evan, our Electrical Engineer, as he installs a new RM Stator RM30333 voltage regulator rectifier on this Sportsman 700 EFI.

Thanks! Sorry to save time we often have to cut out bodywork removal, otherwise these videos would be even longer.

I have a 2004 Sportsman 600 that has a battery symbol flash in the dash and a speed needle flash red. The bike will also die as I'm driving. Sometimes I can start it back up right away, sometimes it will turn over longer but it definitely is not the battery as it turns over no problem and I just replaced the battery too thinking that was the problem. The stator is charging fine, not overcharging. Do you think it's the regulator?

I changed mine and I still only get 12.5 v when I rev it up. You think my stater is bad?

Very likely a bad stator. I would recommend testing the stator resistance and AC voltage output.

i just bought a new stator and regulator.. thanks to you i should be able to do it no prob. my battery is brand new. it ran fine about 5 mins and died. only runs when hooked to a battery or jump box. the second i discon ect it it dies. also i checked the volts and its jumping all around with and without the stator and voltage connected. i doubt they both died at the same time tho so whats your opinion on the problem. what should i put in first. my stator came in today my regulator will be here tm i just dont wanna take out a part thats still good.
