Awesome video man. My pull start all of a sudden seized on me, opened it up and the pull start assembly broke, in the meantime, I looked at the bendix and realized that the teeth were completely worn down! Sounded a lot like 0:20. Thanks again.

My starter is bad. I’ve got the replacement and a new bendix I got with it. It looks like the starter comes out the other side. Would it be easier to install the starter from the other side with that cover and bendix our or does it need to be in place in order to put the new starter in? Just trying to save myself some work as other videos show the starter being a bit of a pain to get the bolts started and stuff

Hi was wondering i just checked mine as it's making a lot of noise , new one ordered do you put any agl or oil in the case to lube the gears?
@mlevi5127 жыл бұрын
Tazzharm No I didn't. Mine was noisy before changing also and I found that the bushings that hold the bendix were worn causing the noise.

canthat bad bendix cause the pull start from not retracting ?
@mlevi5125 жыл бұрын
No, the bendix is only related to the electric start. Check out your recoil assembly.

Have any one removed the bushings for the bendix and if so how did you achieve that to install new ones
