As a pro xp ultimate owner my opinion is strongly bias, the turbo R is better than the pro xp in 2 possible ways; Rock climbing, and dunes. The wider stance gives it an edge in some ways. But The turbo R is a heavy unit and being on same platform as pro xp its kinda a disappointment. I belive if Jake would have ended up in a pro xp ultimate that he would have that same smile. I'm just glad it's not a x3 he ended up with. Congrats Jake and exited to see you build this unit

I apologize if I missed it. It seemed like Jake was not happy with his Pro XP after the engine rebuild. Can you talk about what happened with that? I have always appreciated your guys honesty and openness. Also it was never talked about..but with out naming any brands was the initial engine failure due to a tune?

The engine blew up because it didn’t have enough oil and we’re going up steep hills. Rod bearing went on one side and created a baseball bat in there. Jake loved the Pro XP, it just seen it’s day. Frame was bent along with a 100 other things

It kinda sucks when your low gear is soo much lower than your buddies low gears. I always end up in last position because of it. It's great for the technical stuff, unfortunately the technical part (where you will really shine) is usually only a small percentage of the ride (in the midwest).
