This is absolutely wonderful. Very very useful method that is easy to remember too. I have problem when the frame colour is lighter as the magic selection spills. To avoid this, I have the inside of the frame a dark colour so that selection is easily made. Gavin, could you pls put up a broken glass effect in CS4. No good ones inutube. thx

First, I wanted to say thanks for the great video's. However, I have a small problem that I wanted to ask you about. I have several polaroids in my picture. In the video you use the magic wand to select the inside square of the polaroid. Now, whatever I do, I just won't get just the inside. Everytime it also selects a bit of the polaroid itself or a part of another polaroid. What am I doing wrong?

which photoshop is this? for some reason i couldn't do the selection and copy paste it in each of the snaps. i tried this out in photoshop CS3. please help. sorry if m not making any sense :P m so new to this things.

A humble suggestion :) instead of using white background, use a blurred version of the original image....pretty decent effect....

this was one of my favorite tuts but it could've been made a little simpler yet sacrificing more of the "real" feel to the photo. instead of messing with textures and such just simply making the fake Polaroid photo frame and simply pasting it onto the desired photo and simply erasing the excess background.
