Most of your photogavin videos are simply awesome! Usually used to watch your tutorials daily when I was away home. But, with very sluggish Internet (takes about 5 hours to buffer a video!) I'm now almost missing these nice tutorials!

This is one of my most favourite tutorials of yours Gavin ... I found it again today which sparked an idea for using it in a project I'm working on. Thanks so much for your awesomeness. Always a pleasure to learn from you.

Great instructions, I'm an amateur/intermediate PhotoShop user and was able to follow this to the letter without any problems. For everyone asking the size of the background image, do the follwing: 1- create a new file of 4000x2500 (Width x Height) 2- Click the Gradient tool and choose 2 colors (foreground white and background dark aqua for example). 3- press and hold mouse button from the center of the image, drag straight down before reaching edge 4- release button. You can play with this.

Wow Gavin, I tried this technique when you first posted it many years ago and I just recently started getting back into goofing with Pshop. Out of all the tutorials that I have tried to follow yours by far are the easiest and most fun. I have been in a couple of accidents in years past that cost me a portion of my memory so I'm having to learn alot of things all over again, I'm just glad you still have these tutorials uploaded they have become invaluable. Thanks again and God Bless.

Wow, you are a magician of photography and I am trying not to spend my whole day watching your videos. Although, I am sure you wouldn't mind. LoL Your tips are actually fantastic and actually teach which I like. Not an annoying voice which is a major for you. Thank you and I will continue to watch as I am more into taking pictures and creating memories beacuse of your KZbin videos.

That was very thorough and quick to say the least. I learn so much from guys like you. My brother has photoshop but I use corel paint shop X3. The two are essentially the same, so for those who use photoshop's cousin which is corel paint shop, the tutorial was compatible. Good work PhotoGavin.

Ufff....took me 3 days in PS 8 to do it...run into few bugs since my PS8 and Gavin's PS don't utilize exactly the same commands and shortcuts....so I had to work through it with my (very) limited knowledge of PS.... third day I woke up at 4AM with problem solving idea on my mind....sat behind my laptop and bang: problem solved. Final image was only slightly different since my PS8 / Transform doesn't have banner/flag option. But overall: mission accomplished ! Thanks Gavin !

once again, great video.Wonder if you could do a similar thing and show how to make it into a template to be used in a prog like proshow producer where you can just drop in pictures into the film strip. Also at the start when you did the background what format would it need to be saved as to be used in proshow producer. sorry for bringing up Proshow, just i am learning using the programe and these videos you do give me ideas. thanks
