Never thought I'd say this . But my new SX 70 makes me more appreciative of my Now +.

oh awesome. 1 have a Sonar Onestep. 1 think 1 might try that technique. Its similar to how to get the Lomo LC-A to do long exposures by covering the light meter window.

I used a test shot on my first exposure from sx70 film....then used a color compensating filter to improve the color. Most polarid film was not totally accurate with greyscale.

Just today stumbled across your channel. Great content, keep up the good work!

Just a little comment at 6:29, I think what's actually happening there is that the lever that holds the film counter resets, so when you put the pack back it spits the image out thinking it's the darkslide. If you take a onestep apart you'll see the film counter springs back to zero if a lever isn't up. The film pack holds it up when it is at least halfway in the camera

would attaching a shutter release cable and holding the lever not keep the shutter open?

no

Is there not the issue of camera shake when pressure the shutter given there is no timer or cable release? Btw I’m also in Toronto - great shots

Hey, thanks for the tricks. I tried to take one with the 1st technique but the film came out black and nothing developed. Is there a reason or something I did wrong. Hmmm. Thanks in advance!

What do you think about the keystone revue 700F and the magic? I got my hands on a 700f for only 25 euros and they look amazing! Sadly there aint much info about them online

If I am taking a city scape shot at night, should I have the exposure setting on all the way bright? My photo came out all white at the neutral setting.

How about a 660 Autofocus? I'm assuming it's the same as a onestep?

Can you use any tripod mount for any of the SX-70s? Thanks!
@AnalogResurgence4 жыл бұрын
If the SX-70 has a tripod socket then it can be used with any tripod! But many SX-70's including some of the plastic OneStep SX-70's don't have a tripod hole on the bottom. Certain models can take a tripod mount accessory though! www.brooklynfilmcamera.com/accessories/sx-70-tripod-mount

Your SX-70 is shaking, though, with the finger and open-door technique.

That's not a dark slide. Polaroid never called it that. It's just the film cover. Dark slides are used on old plate cameras.
