Just found your channel, trying to hear songs from my twenties again. I'm just some American kid who started listening to japanese music in the 90s, and the year this came out I was 19-- barely an adult, when I saw Ringo-san punch that glass. She was stoic but venomous behind the mic, loved rock and paid respect to her predecessors, mean with a guitar, and so creative in every way. She was a huge part of what I modeled myself after, as an adult, and I'm glad to have found this video. She's the queen, as far as I'm concerned. Great to see you enjoy her work!

The first time I heard Shiina Ringo was like a musical revolution for me. I friend of mine went me Yokushitzu "Bathroom" in English, and I was absolutely enamored by the basslines, the voice, and the style which was a mix of jazz and rock with electro. As if that song wasn't amazing enough this same friend then sent me Kareha which is a cover of the jazz song "Autumn Leaves". As you can imagine, going from listening to punk rock music and your typical MTV music video bands is a huge jump in sophistication especially for a young musician still learning and finding themselves musically.
Hello. I always enjoy watching it. My favorite Japanese band is ONE OK ROCK. Please see it. I am looking forward to the day when you come to Japan. good luck!

Please come to Summer Sonic Festival in Chiba. That is one of biggest festival in Japan.
Shiina Ringo's lyrics at this time around is always dark and sexy. "Come inside of me more deeply. Just shake my instinctive emotins. " At the same time, her lyrics sounds intellectual, like the ones written by a literary girl because of her word choice. Hope you find good translation.

JAELさんと同年代です! sum41やweezerはやっぱり周囲でも人気でよく聴いていました! "in secret of"を聞いたことがないけど近しいものがあるんでしょうね。 私は"BACK STREET BOYS"の"I want it tha that way"を中学校の英語の授業で聞いて大好きになりました。 "JHONAS BROTHERS"も勿論日本でも人気で有名なので流行りましたが、「あれ?この感じあの曲じゃない?すごく似てるんだけど!?」 っと思いました。 日本人は好きになったアーティストへの関心が長い傾向にあるとよく聞きます。 確かに私もBUMP OF CHICKENとRADWIMPSの曲はずっと聴いてますね。笑
