Another really good video. Love the way you have your kids involved. They seam to know the next step, handing you material and hardware. Their building skills for a lifetime. Keep it up. If we every make it to northern Florida, we would love to see your homestead!

I think basic electrical and plumbing skills are priceless on a farm.

Have you ever read a children's story called "Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type" in which the cows and chickens of Farmer Brown requested him to get electric blankets for them because they felt cold at night? This is the moral story of animal welfare. Does your newly built barn have insulation for your animals to have proper protection from the cold, which was especially true for the polar vortex that happened this year and previous times? There is a correlation between these.

When animals start writing letters demanding things or they will go on strike it’s time to eat them. Animals are made for the outdoors I have built shelters for horses and they will go stand under a tree in the cold and rain before they go under the shelter where it’s warm and dry. The name of that children’s book is “don’t demand and end up in the frying pan”
