Our kupuna and their na kupuna have also handed down stories to share with their children and mo'opuna. Hawaiian legends are endless and we are blessed to to be able to hear and read their stories. Our Hawaiian People - past and present - are very akamai. As one very appreciative of my Hawaiian heritage, I am happy that I, my family and friends live in Hawaii-very grateful and blessed. If you used the expression "Voice of an Angel", this is the song it would bring to mind. I think (guessing) that's Manu Boyd singing behind her. It chokes me up a little every time I hear it. Not only is the singing just gorgeous, you know that she KNOWS what the words are saying. There are other (none quite so) pretty versions on KZbin, but they seem to merely mimic her version without really knowing what the lyrics mean... "Come to me that we may Pili".
