Nurses health workers and Police can’t be paid too much. They care for us. I live in Ireland and am so grateful for our Gardai and also the hero’s that are our Health Workers. There are 2 doctors in our family, one a cardiologist and one an immunologist. It’s their whole lives helping others. Life is messy. An Aunt of my cousins was murdered. No one was ever arrested. Her son and husband were questioned for 48 hours. They were a well off family and the husband was in a superior position in a Government body. The weapon used belonged to the husband. I have found that case very frustrating. I think that’s what triggered my interest in true crime. It’s not always fair play for everyone. Love from Ireland.

So much is being made about the research questionnaire, in a masters degree program , it is not that unusual. Especially since the suspect, as well as his classmates also on the project we’re studying criminal justice. The rush to implicate his family as weird is cruel. The aunt saying he was ocd about making sure meat was not cooked in the same pan - again not a sign of psychopath. Many religions have the same rules ie kosher.

sweet ... don't criticize what we didn't know for those first six weeks. The police chief should never have been the front man to deal with the media. I had no confidence in him at all. The local prosecutor (the guy in this video with white beard) would have been much better at communicating with the media. Even in this video, I had to leave the video when the police chief resumed the discussion. His smirky smile was super off-putting in this case. That said, I'm really glad they finally made an arrest.

I'm a 47 year alumni of Washington State University in Pullman, Wa. And this is all so surreal. WSU & U of I are both small college towns that are surrounded for miles by wheat fields, where the locals are farmers and university employees. And the communities are low key and feel safe. I was confused why this was starting to be considered a cold case prior to the arrest. It had been only 6 weeks since the murders. Investigations take time, and to find and arrest the personal responsible within 2 month of the crime is impressive!

usually at a 6 week time frame most cases have a suspect. in this case it took longer. it can become a cold case if there is no information coming in. but here that wasnt the case. also not all cases get solved there are plenty we dont know who did and have not be bought to justice. that is a possibility in every case. especially when there is no suspect. then the chances get smaller and smaller

True. I just do not understand how he ended up one exit from where I live in PA. When I heard the news today I was floored. I'm really interested in knowing the connection or did he really think he could hide out in this area as so many do, or did he believe he would be able to stand trial here without the possibility of being put to death. The next things I want to hear in a courtroom are GUILTY & Sentenced to DEATH! No life imprisonment or anything of the like. The individual doesn't deserve to be in prison for life on the taxpayers dime for what they've done. Amazing to find a suspect clear across the other side of the country! I’m sure this has not been an easy case to try to solve, with so little clues to go on. Shades of Ted Bundy. I imagine that Kohberger could write a book on Bundy. Comments don't seem to take into account the suspect's course of study at DeSales University and Washington State. It's going to be a long row to hoe because Kohberger is aware that silence is golden. However, if his DNA is found in the blood samples that may conclude the case. It will be interesting to hear what his friends, family, associates have to say about him. He purposely targeted darlings to accentuate his pleasure in a monstrous act. Law enforcement and the public response are to be commended. My heart goes out to the families of Kaylee, Madison, Xana and Ethan who are suffering grief untold.

I don’t know if any will see this, but thank you to all those who worked tirelessly and helped find the person who did this. I am not sure how often police in Moscow see homicide, never mind the brutality, level of violence, and senselessness of this case. I can hear the emotion in his voice. This was hard. These were just young college kids doing what many young college kids do. They had their whole lives ahead of them. I’m sure this impacted LE as well as the community in a deep way. Let’s now hope he sees justice.
