I totally love the ogre that was such a great just imagine I’m only 5 foot four or five 3 1/2 like 115 pounds 120 pounds duck guy could crush me in a pretzel and and I asked my dad he’s retired. He used to just hunt, go visit Aunt hunting but I asked him he said yeah those burlap camouflage bags are meant to carry like the meat I don’t even like animal hunting. I hate it but that’s something that definitely if it was tossed in a desolate place nobody would ever find that, but because of Shannon looking for Shannon if it wasn’t for Shannon Gilbert, they would’ve never found these girls, and there was also a two-year-old baby , and it wasn’t bad enough they didn’t even bury the baby next to her mother that was also there the mother was a Nassau county and the baby was in Suffolk county two year old buried there. I think Rex did that too, and the severed legs that washed up on fire island was from a Karen regatta, and she had long red. He seems to like redheads , he’s a creepy scary to look

@@darlenekorson3716 true but the mo, and different victen profiles was different between victims and very large time gaps. It would be very strange for it to be a single killer. That's if I recall a arrival correctly. The issue I see here is they close the book on the case entire class to shut people up since body stopped but like in Atlanta child murders when more investigation was needed to get justice

There was a belief that there was two separate killers. Although the initial investigation was bad and shrouded with suspected corruption. Killers sometimes develop their MO and victim profile over time, so it’s possible he started different than he finished. The last time I looked at the case Rex wasn’t being charged with all the bodies and he wasn’t even being charged with Shannon Gilbert’s death which was ruled accidental. Shannon was the victim who called 911 and led to the discovery of the bodies so one would think she would be included. it does appear he is being charged for both sets of bodies which like I previously stated the inclusion of a toddler and a male who they now believe was transgender are the victims who throw off the profile. All were escorts, etc. they identified him as “Asian male” but he was wearing female clothes. The toddler doesn’t fit either but was the daughter of peaches so she likely brought her child which is so sad. They have also connected him to a number of earlier bodies that were dismembered and disposed of differently which again aligns with the idea that some killers develop their skills and their tastes. I think it is more likely that the victims are all the result of one killer than two different killers dumping bodies in the same area.

I really liked how this was more focused on the victims’ families, who are victims in their own right, than on the perpetrator. Serial killers are so often glamorized because they’re so interesting on a psychological level and the idea of them even existing is so scary, but we need to just see them as just selfish and narcissistic POSs who hurt a lot of people for their own enjoyment. Every clip here of Steve Relford is so heartbreaking to watch, how he still carries so much pain so many years later, and how he has carried so much guilt and regret over innocently opening the door at 6 years old. Just devastating. I wish him and all the other victims healing and peace.

People.....please help out the local shelter and get a dog or two. Even if they are super friendly or tiny, they pretty much always bark at sounds outside. Burglars don't like dogs because they make too much noise. Even if a burglar is targeting someone and gives the dog treats or steak or kills the dog. The dog almost always barks first. They are almost always your first alarm. I've watched so many of these true crime shows over the last few months. I think only two or three of the cases actually had a dog. And then the dog(s) didn't bark or didn't,5 bark for long because they knew the bad guy/gal.

Yes, I have to agree. I have 3 pugs, aged 8, 9 and 10. So not exactly young dogs and they're more likely to lick someone to death, than to bite them. But boy will they bark if they hear something outside...and one of them barking, sets off the other 2, so then all 3 are barking. And the younger two were rehomes when they were both 2 years old. And even though they are small "lap dogs" and soft as snow, their bark is not a tiny little yap. They ALL have a deep bark, especially the 2 males. If you were in my driveway and didn't know they were harmless pugs - if they started barking, you'd leave! So this is great advice...as the lady says, go rescue a dog or 2 from a shelter. You never know..asides from having a great companion, they might also just save your property, or even your life, some day.

Asa is being paid untold thousands of dollars to be filmed during Rex's legal proceedings for a TV "documentary. Asa suddenly starts showing up, her appearance all cleaned up, in court and exchanges smiles with Rex after not showing up before?. Plus, she and Rex owned other properties in Las Vegas and elsewhere-even if they owe money or can't liquidate now-property ownership in at least three states is or was valuable. Why are these assets not mentioned in the Go Fund me campaign for Asa? Also, Asa's hairs on the bodies at least warrant consideration of Asa as a suspect. Extremely deficient investigation by previous law enforcement . Then suddenly when a new great police commissioner comes on the scene and starts actually investigating the murders and going public about new evidence the DA attacks him and he is forced to resign. Exactly, the only reason people in this profession are targeted more is because the murderer thinks they will be less likely to be missed, are easier targets, the police will be less likely to get involved etc. However people who are not in this profession have been murdered, everyone going about their daily life regardless of their profession could put them in the sights of a killer at some point in their life. Just their profession puts them in more danger than your average person and the reason for them choosing such profession doesn't mean they are less of a person than the person judging them in a negetive way. Sadly money makes the world turn and everyone needs it and if the jobs aren't there then people will do any means available to make money and better their own life even if its feeding a habit like drugs. I watched the movie "Lost Girls" based around "The Gilgo Beach Serial Killing" which is what brought me to wanting to learn more about this case. Maybe those who are quick to judge the person for their profession should in actual factr duge the person who takes advantage of these professions for their own deepest and darkest fantasies or maybe they themselves have such fantasies .

I loathe the fact that any time a victim has a less than reputable profession it is in the headline on everything reported by the media. If the victim had a drug problem, even if they have beaten it, that is always in the report as well. if the victim was a butcher, baker or candle stick maker it would not be reported in the headline or mentioned over and over. I also loathe the fact that most victims of sexual assault never have their cases prosecuted unless they are murdered. It's heartbreaking to see victims victimized from start to finish even after death. Victim shaming really needs to end. Unfortunately, I don't think it will end anytime soon. It seems like more and more people are even more judgmental than they used to be. When people within the justice system also victim shame we have a big problem. Criminals have more protection in regard to how they are portrayed than the victims do.

But even if they made poor life choices they didn’t deserve to die this way they still had families that loved them and maybe they could have broken out of prostitution if they had the chance we will never know.

She eventually ran out of the house and into the night. Police knew where the taxi had dropped her off and interviewed the men and cleared them of any crimes. It creeped me out that they could clear them, but they did. Rex wasn’t the one with her at that house, but she must have encountered him after leaving.

She was present when Karen Vergata ran out of the house naked trying to get away but probably caught by RH. She was present when Shannon Gilbert came to the house. She knew damn well what was going on. And if the other two - the daughter and stepson lived there too, then they knew as well. Asa was scared of Rex, she said so to a witness. But she could not muster up the courage to report it. I believe she is an abused wife, scared of Rex, but she should have reported his shenanigans a long time ago. Decades of this! She is not innocent. When Shannan Gilbert was running for her life, she said, 'They are after me'. Who was the second person? Asa???

Asa is being paid untold thousands of dollars to be filmed during Rex's legal proceedings for a TV "documentary. Suddenly, Asa starts showing up in court, her physical appearance all cleaned up, and exchanges smiles with Rex after not showing up before?. Plus, she and Rex reportedly owned other properties in Las Vegas and elsewhere.Even if they owe money- or can't liquidate the properties now ownership in at least three states, is or was ,valuable. Why are these property assets not mentioned in the Go Fund me campaign for Asa? Also, Asa's hairs on the bodies at least warrant consideration of Asa as a suspect. Extremely deficient-even negligent investigation by previous law enforcement for years.. Then suddenly when a new, effective police commissioner comes on the scene and starts actually investigating the murders and going public about new evidence ,the DA attacks him and the Commissioner is forced to resign. Many elements of this care do not fit., including completely excluding Asa as a suspect with Rex. It may be innocent or not, but why is Asa's involvement not being very seriously investigated? I am the sister of a murdered brother so this is not unfamiliar territory for me.

The police took trailer after trailer full of evidence … it’s gonna take them a while to go through all that evidence.

I honestly think that they both had parts in the murders. But Tim did talk Shawn into it. Either way they’re both guilty.

I lived and grew up in Wichita, KS during the 70’s when BTK was murdering innocent people and it changed the trajectory of my life. The Otero family lived blocks from my dad’s house and I had nightmares constantly about him hiding somewhere in my home. (a real ‘boogeyman’) So at 18 I left and moved to a different state.. my family remains there in Wichita. I hate that Dennis Rader affected me so negatively! My youngest brother later went hunting with a group of men - including Rader - for deer (a year before being caught).. my brother - who worked at Gateway computers then - said when Rader found out that he worked in IT - grilled him about whether discs were traceable or not. My brother remembers that Rader also was behind him, in the woods, holding a shotgun during that hunting trip. Scary stuff.

He is proof that anyone from any walk of life can be Serial. He was the president of his church, had a job with the County, Boy Scout leader, had taken criminology classes. Hindsight is 20/20. Scary.

I don't care how high you are, if you are conscious, you don't walk out in the middle of a marsh and drown. She clearly screamed, "Get off!" She also said "they" when speaking of someone following her. I would imagine if she ran in the marsh it was to get away from probably more than one person who ultimately drowned her there. That makes way more sense than she walked into the marsh and drowned by herself.

Why is this not legal. This is the oldest profession and should be made legal! These are.only our sisters, daughters, mothers, friends, They should be protected to the extent any of us are!

Even if the oldest profession was made legal, it doesn’t mean they would stop killing women.

First off you should have addressed the issue of him not being investigated because of the involvement of the other officers back in 2009 /2010... And I believe Osa is deeply involved
