@@flyerbob124 Wasn't just Reagan. The ACLU filed a lawsuit claiming that assessing 5150 and 5250 designations on people was unconstitutional and they won the lawsuit. After that the authorities could not lock up people with clear mental issues without a consent form signed by the person and a judges signature. Not even the families of the mentally ill person could get them into institutions! Fast forward to today and you still see the effects of this lawsuit. Governor Reagan closed the state hospitals because they were mismanaged and not cost effective.

in cali if you defend yourself you get charged . The system is crooked and has lost the respect of the citizens. The politicians want more money for more police. Ronald Reagan closed the asylums & institutions years ago To save precious tax dollars. Unfortunately many communities in California are still under the influence of Ronald Reagan. Compared to the sixties & 70's the police are quite polite, respectful and docile with these antagonistic dregs who constantly disrupt the peace.Gavin says the homeless encampments around the state are to be cleaned up asap. And at what cost to regular tax payers in our state? Ronald Reagan's hordes of the later day trickle down billionaires & corporations of today should pay their fair share of taxes to finance this socio economic effort. Instead social & economical grifters like Elon Musk, the Silicone Valley crowd & Hollywood's finest and real estate tycoons make heaps of loot and then complain & move away to low wage paying places like Texas saying California's taxes are too much for them.

I have family member who was assaulted unprovoked. He was drinking a coffee & talking on his phone. A guy fitting this description violently charged my son throwing him to the ground. My son also had the presence of mind not to retaliate. The crazy dangerous homeless man ran away. The police said there would be no way to find him. These addicts are unstable and they present a serious danger to people. This must stop. My son required minor medical attention fortunately he was okay but these homeless can kill people.

Nothing like it. I never saw a single fistfight. I never saw anyone yelling insanely. There was no one around who was threatening. It was the beach. Everybody went to the beach to have a good time in the sun, and swim, and surf, and play volleyball, and take their kids with their pails and shovels to play in the wet sand. Nothing happened. Ever.
