But in reality you gotta admit 800 rounds is a little overkill for the average patrol officer... The round count for most OIS's is in single and occasional double digits. As far as more serious situations go, the North Hollywood shootout saw officers fire a combined 650 rounds between over a hundred officers on scene. In San Bernardino, 23 officers fired about 450 rounds, you see my point? I understand where you're coming from, I just don't think it's even remotely necessary

They should have 2 cameras on each person so that if one has a rare accident and fails the second camera is there so that way we can say if both cameras are down that cop has to be charged with something related to the cameras having to stay on and that they should check to make sure both work before they start so people who actually have a malfunction don’t get in trouble, but so that if someone wants to hide their camera it has to be in an obvious chargeable way, that’s my take but idk shit

It must be hard being a good cop because without doubt there are a lot of bad ones & the reason people are getting so sceptical is because even when they get caught out the punishment is either too small or non existent. I know it's a movie but it apparently based on real events but it's like in American Gangster when just because they handed in a lot of money the rest of the squad stopped trusting them as they were seen to be "too honest" yes it's in a movie but if you read the actual memoirs of the officer involved it was actually a lot worse, so bad that both his partner & himself had death threats so how many situations never get to see the light of day? Then on top of the financial corruption we have people dying whilst in police custody and its not a race thing white people die or get hurt too. I actually feel sorry for the men & women who dreamt their whole life of becoming a police officer and making a difference to their community only to join and be treated as an outsider and pushed out.

Honestly I`m more pro cop with most the body cam footage. Lots show they are clearly in the right. When cops have body cams and gun cams there will be no question as to who is lying. There was just that video of the pedo who shot it out with the cop. Body cam you can`t see the gun. Gun cam you sure as hell can. Even hit the officer with the shotgun, but it was just birdshot. Video goes from a black cop nicely telling a mother daughter tweaker duo they need to get their bite-y dog tested because their neighbor or someone reported the dog biting them, to a shootout with a different guy in under 5 minutes.
