Yep. It's almost like this was done just for KZbin views or something. I heard the dispatcher told to the cop to "back off". Is this is becoming a trend where centralized command is taken over by dispatchers of how the police interdict?? I can't stand this micromanagement mentality. It was tried and failed in Vietnam for God sakes. Give it up already!!
@billmelater6552 ай бұрын
Absolutely ridiculous. I'm sure most of the police would rather be able to pit these criminals. But pusscake politicians in Columbus and in various cities won't let them. Instead, they'd rather have innocent motorists endangered for miles and miles and have the taxpayers pay to repair a bus, a squad car and pay for more stop sticks. VOTE THEM OUT!!!

This is a new law enforcement method that they are trying out. It's called the Non-Intervention Report Only program, better known as NIRO. The officers never attempt to intervene during the course of the commission of a crime. They are simply there to document the encounter and the outcomes, however they might turn out based on the actions of the offender. The safety of the public is now officially within the domain of the offender, excusing law enforcement from any liability. Of course, the criminals are never held liable, so this way everybody wins. Right?
@sherryhastilow17012 ай бұрын
Along with not intervening they will drop all the charges and ops for probation…that means they fit with an ankle monitor and never monitor it…

As you can see stop sticks can make a car running from the police much more dangerous. But most police forces will not use methods like pit maneuvers because of the danger to the criminal. But the criminal hitting a innocent car and hurting or killing a innocent person. Is not perceived as bad to the media as harming a criminal. So police prefer innocents killed or maimed than criminals.
