John, I was scrolling yesterday and found the Blues and Royals with the horses on a beach. It was amazing to watch the horses rolling in the sand. The troopers were very casually dressed in shorts. A few in fatigues. They were letting the public come up and pet the horses and answer questions. Is this something you could find out about and maybe go to next time? I thought I heard someone say Ormond😊. You probably already know about this, and I'm late to the party, lol. Friday is my 65th birthday and I'm wishing for an exciting video for you to bring us❤

That’s correct. I noticed there was some new Holkham footage up. This is where the HCav horses and troopers go when the Kings Own take over for a month in June(or is it July? I get that mixed up ALL the time 😂) It’s a great chance for the horses to de pressurise and to strengthen the bond between the horses and their troopers. They get to run and play and swim, and tbh it’s so much fun to watch the footage that’s taken.

@@kathellison8084 you're right we have loads of stables in Northumberland who bring their horses to run on our long, clean sandy beaches , in fact the bank whose logo is the Black Horse did their shooting for the well known advert that starts with a girl running through trees and overtaken by beautiful, black horses which ends on our local beach at Beadnell, I'm sure you'll know it ! There's also a stable in the dunes at Blyth/ Seaton Sluice beach, it's wonderful to see them 😀

John, if you look at 1:05:11 the mouth on a stick walks into the frame at Horse Guards. While the Corporal of horse is talking to those two, the mouth walks towards the gate and spies a bottle of what appears to be Orange, which he promptly adopts as his own at 1:05:24 and walks through the gate. I feel sorry for all the tourists who have spent a lot of hard earned money to get here only to find that once again the spectacle of Horse Guards has yet again been cancelled. It's about time a halt was brought to these protests.

Thanks John for editing this video so that it comes up as a recent video for me (at least). I believe the horse you thought was Ormonde is actually Oscar (he has broken blaze). The horse in the box before that was Talah (mark is hidden under the forelocks). All based on horses you identified in more recent videos that I kept track of. It's harder for me to identify horses without head markings. I usually try to identify horses with head markings and foot markings. When neither are available, then I usually have to defer to you based on the hoof ID.

The horse/cow hybrid is a cob. Hard to tell the colour but if it's black and white, it's piebald like my Merlin. If it's brown and white, it's skewbald like Merlin's boss Rosie who isn't a cob, she's a tiny 10hh Dartmoor hill. Put Rosie into a field with half a dozen of the King's horses and within a couple of hours, they will be in a bunch in a corner, rolling their eyes and trembling because she tolerates no crap no matter how big they are.Once they understand she's in charge and gets first dibs on gingernuts, carrots, polo mints, and gets to check all the hay nets first before deciding which one she wants, they will have an easy life. And even then, 5 minutes after they all tuck in, she might change her mind and want a different one. Whichever horse is eating, must move away to allow Rosie to eat, or decide that she wants the other hay net after all...................... Rosie can actually gallop as fast in reverse while kicking and emitting bad tempered squeals, as she can run forwards.

@PhyllisGlassup. Hi, we had a 12 hds Palomino pony who kept an 18 hds draft like horse in the corner of a field by slowly grazing backwards and forwards until someone came and rescued him! We called her Evil Gladys when she behaved like that. Most times she was sweet!
