A Met Police officer faces a misconduct hearing for allegedly farting in a female colleague’s face.
PCs Wayne Sansom and Ben Jeffries are accused of inappropriate behavior between 2020 and 2023, including sexual, racial, and offensive remarks.
Jeffries also allegedly sent an unsolicited explicit image and took an inappropriate photo on a female colleague’s phone.
The hearing runs from June 23 to July 4.
Kevin O’Sullivan speaks with ex Scotland Yard detective Mike Neville about the latest police stories.

How can we have people with 40 convictions out on the street... We should build more prisons and introduce a 3 strike system. if you commit 3 minor offences automatic 5 years. another 3 convictions 15 years. Then ramp up the punishment based severity of the crime. e.g. robbery x3 automatic 10 years imprisonment.

Do they not have performance reviews or something like this like other employees have to go through in other jobs, do they not have a list of real crimes to work through, have regulations, rules etc, and something to give them a kick up the backside.
