The law, police and our government should conduct their duties fairly and honestly irrespective of colour, race, gender, age or religion. 100% true. Police sit behind saying we train officers to be equal and fair to all. However once officers are doing their job the follow up grilling when dealing with some is immense compared to others, so much so, they are thinking twice before they expose themselves to the grilling.

I dont know if its in his job description to speak to the media about these issues; there could be other reasons for him to be disciplined so leave that to his employer. If he is SO right at what point in history did the Met become so nervous to approach Black people/other minorities? Was it before or after they stopped, searched so many Black people that Right Wing Home Secretary had to tell them to stop? Or was it after Ll the hifh profile Black people dying in custody?? Lets look at the dates & stats & then ask Black people if they’ve noticed a difference. Black people keep track of how many times theyve been stopped & when. If you dont want the facts as well as his opinion then you have no business being in the debate!

The Met Fed Chairman is correct but for the wrong reason. If you complain about police abuse the police are first investigated by their Professional Standards Department so in other words, themselves. When your complaint is uniformly rejected as it will be, it can be referred to the IOPC who will in turn almost always support the police because they have a vested interest in doing so. Auditors such as Auditing Britain have been illegally detained, illegally arrested, handcuffed, verbally and physically abused on a weekly basis. They have shown what a pointless effort it is to file a complaint against police and consequently go straight to a civil claim which invariably results in the police settling out of court. We, the taxpayers, have to fund these settlements but at least with top auditors like AB, the officers in question are held to account by having their actions and details recorded for posterity which is far better than a slap on the wrist accompanied by a wink from the senior officer in charge.
