Wow this was so hard to watch. I really was praying that they didn't have time to go through the back even though I could have just fast forwarded to find out the answer. I am thankful that you guys are safe and had time to process this event. Your the only channel I could find for first person Prevost owner stories that aren't about buying or selling RV's. You guys are living the life my wife and I hope to be able to live one day. As bad as this was it is also a lessons learned for those just getting into full time RV'ing and I'm sure everyone is thankful for what you do.

Smash & grab is as common as the air we breathe in, all across the land. Never leave your loaded vehicle unattended, no matter what 'cos your lic. plate, car rental & even the way you drive in unfamiliar territory is a dead give away that makes you a sweet target. Maybe contradictory but a healthy dose of fear & paranoia goes a long way to help with one's mileage of travels. Stay safe ❤.

I can't believe what I'm seeing. you mean to tell me someone stole your pick up Truck and your RV this year? How is that possible? Are you being careful to not to talk about your personal belongings in front of strangers? How would someone know you have so much to lose? i'm very happy you have your pick up back but you really have to be much much more careful and always stay aware of strangers. Just our truck was stolen. The Rv was in the shop for some repairs. There are organized crime rings near Dallas that steal our type of truck. Wrong place at the wrong time. Thank you for your concern and prayers!

People can use electronic devices to get the code from your key fob and make their own. Not sure if thats how they got the truck to run without having yours but its happening more and more. All technology can be overcome these days.

They popped the lock and hit wired it. They immediately removed the Onstar device. They were for sure professionals.

Shame I am so sorry about your awful theft. Please be careful in the future. You have so many illegal immigrants in your country. Not saying it is them but highly likely.
