For example (this is right from the ILCS Illinois Compiled Statutes) Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon is a Class 3 felony in Illinois. UUW by a Felon carries a maximum prison sentence of five years but is non-probationable. The minimum sentence for a conviction for an Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon is two years in prison. The cook county judges (that you elected) violate state law and hand out minimum sentences of 2 year’s constantly or probation which it clearly says non-probationable. They refuse to give harsher penalties for those who just don’t want to follow the laws.

The cop has no gun safety skills either because at 1:36 in the video he points the gun in the direction of those people standing in front of him to remove the round in the chamber. That is NOT how you properly do unload a round from the chamber. (You should point the gun at the ground, that way if the gun fires it is not pointed in a direction the bullet could strike someone.)

Why don’t they specify that those guns are from current criminals or criminals in the process of committing crimes with guns. They leave it open. Criminals have more guns then citizens that legally carry guns.they should have done it way before it got out of hand, not wait for more criminals to get more guns. Thats why the penalty for criminals should be harsher since they keep allowing them out.
