Police in Armenia used stun grenades against anti-government protesters outside the parliament in Yerevan. The demonstrators, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanian, rallied in the Armenian capital on June 12 to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian.

So if a government is elected democratically they can basically destroy the country. makes a lot of sense. in a democracy you should defend yourself from tyranny.

@@CanadianForPutinSince when is protesting a democratically-elected government not democratic? A protest does not equal "overthrowing" anyone. (That's your mind on Putinism.) Democracy isn't just about voting. There are other principles, processes, and institutions involved. Plus, we have plenty of examples of dictators who were voted into power, usually by manipulating public sentiment with propaganda or false-flag events. The key thing is to hold whoever is in power accountable for respecting democratic norms, including human rights and civil rights

The same Pashinian who came to power by rude force and breaking the law, imitating that the transition was peaceful, he ordered opening fire towards unarmed and peaceful protesters who were just standing and demanding resignation of the PM. His hands are fully in blood. The person who allegedly organized riots and caused chaos of March 1, tried to commit a crime having the authority. Dictatorship unfortunately won in Armenia over democracy during his tenure. Unfortunately this is the reality. Dozens of peaceful protesters including women were injured. The Police did not consider also the kids who were with their parents. The whole responsibility is on Nikol Pashinian's shoulders. Shame on him!!!
