The problem when you are born in France or England is that you think you can walk all over the world like in your country of birth, I know it's not our mentality, I was doing that in Brazil and I don't I didn't listen to the locals but with hindsight I realize that it was dangerous. I was in Quetta in July 2022 and as an American I could not leave my hotel without police escort. My husband is a local Pakistani and it didn't matter. We were escorted all the way to Islamabad from Quetta. Nice guys. Yes frustrating, but they mean well. If anything happened to you Pakistan has a lot to lose from a retaliatory standpoint.

The reason the police follow this traveller is because for security reasons , they don't know what his intentions are being in the country and they want to keep a check on his personal security so nothing happens to him during his visit , the security police will make a report about him and where he visits during his stay in the city .

Very Nice Videos . i think they Security did a very good job. there are still some places in Pakistan where Tourism is slowly coming back and the authorities want to make sure every foriegner gets the best possible experience without any mishap. Normally its people taking a lots of pictures and stopping you at every point to ask where are you from. but who knows, this place have been through a very big natural disaster .
