I told him it expired on my birthday, that I planned on taking care of it on my day off (like 2 days later) since I worked all day & was at the hospital all night with my mom in the hospital, (cancer) that it's just us & my son. I thought I'd just get a ticket but nope. Handcuffs came out, he had my car towed & told me I should thank him for helping getting it taken care of. This chick had a chance to take the ticket & go but it's her own stupidity that got her locked up.

Here’s my driver’s license, registration and insurance.” I don’t recall ever watching a video or being told what to do when I took driving lessons. Do people realize how easy it is to NOT go to jail for driving on a suspended license? Two times my license had been suspended without me knowing it because I had forgotten to pay a ticket. I never lied about my name, I was respectful and polite to the officer, and I listened to all commands. While driving on a suspended IS an arrestable offense, it’s at the officer’a discretion. You treat them well, and they will treat you well in return.

I had a friend and also my husband who got pulled over and they were told their tickets haven’t been paid. Both the tickets had actually been paid and their receipts were at home. My friend was taken to jail and my husband they allowed a friend to come pick him up. But it just was BS since their tickets were paid.
