Police have launched an investigation into Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner.
Ms Rayner has come under the spotlight in recent weeks over the sale of an ex-council house she previously owned in Stockport.

They were found, as recently as 2021, to have failed to invetigate no less than 80,000 incidents in the space of one year, 2021, and were put into Special Measures, which they only recently came out of. This investigation is at the request of toady Deputy Tory Party Chairman, James Daly, MP for Bury North and possesor of the smallest majority in England, 104 votes. This unctuos individual will soon be joing the ranks of the unemployed on the Friday after the General Election. He won't be missed.

People do make mistakes - and this is not a big one actually (but yes of course if she didn't pay then should and should get a reprimand) 3. In addition to these kinds of absolutely fair enough investigations, I'd like to see the ones involving billions of £ investigated - but I'm clear; public servants must be above scrutiny. Let's see what the investigation says, and go from there. 4. I don't think that this is systematic corruption, it's about some questionable living circumstances. From what I read, she and the Labour party are cooperating. I'm not going to play the game of sides. I will again say that there are some pretty major amounts of money that need investigation and the outrage that this generates.
