Police provide update on nine suspects wanted in connection with the gold heist at Pearson

Nine suspects wanted in connection with the gold heist at Pearson International Airport last year have now been identified by investigators, Peel Regional Police say.
At a news conference Wednesday on the one-year anniversary of the heist, police announced that two of the suspects were employed with Air Canada at the time of the heist.
Police said 19 charges have been laid and Canada-wide warrants have been issued for the arrest of three of the suspects who have not yet been apprehended.

He was a minor character, outside of the "family" and may not have been given enough of a share and may have been trying to convert his share into more money but trading in guns. The problem with stealing gold is that the gold is engraved with markings, and therefore cannot be sold on the open market! You have to melt it down to convert it into something that can be sold without arousing suspicion! That is exactly what this gang started to do, turning some of the gold into jewelry! The security at air canada should have been alot better in regards to something like this. Instead of just 1 guy having access to it there should be 3 seperate ppl who sign off on it and watch it get locked up and opened and then watch when it gets loaded. Also putting a apple airtag in the gold bars would have helped to. On the show masterminds a asian dude ran a stolen goods ring becuz he befriended some air canada employees and would pay them to load up slids of electronics and stuff and that was like 30 years ago and the same shit basically still happens there
