My dad used to own a video rental place back in the late 1970s/early 1980s. This place probably had records of all equipment via the serial numbers. My dad did the same thing. Most places no longer have 2 cops per car, smoking is forbidden everywhere (even someone arrested isn't allowed to smoke prior to being taken away), etc.
