Aha yes as the UK doesn't manufacture many cars anymore, and owns even less car companies, AND due to excessive cuts to police force budgets, then we have to purchase good quality cars from big automobile companies - of which the majority are German - Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW...etc. It's good our choice of vehicles like Audi, BMW and Mercedes, but it'd be nice if we could have a few more vehicles from GB like we used to have - such as Jaguar, and of course Land Rover! I love the Land Rovers!!! Thanks ;)

The EDL were holding a protest in Walsall town centre. So Police Support Units were responding to one area of disorder, whilst a van would be responding to another part to collect a prisoner, whilst the two police cars would probably be responding to a regular call in Walsall - and the police motorcycle is just using it's blue lights to get to it's position to perform traffic duties. Yes West Midlands Police. :)

No it belonged to Transport For London / London Underground and was a tube lines Emergency Response Unit, but now it's operated by British Transport Police so that it use blue lights and sirens. 30/7/16

They've just started taking delivery of 5 new trucks, can't tell you what type or spec they are, but B88 is due for replacement, as is B316 (Which is now a van as the S-Max was written off), there's also 5 more Ford Rangers appearing for joint working with NWR Prime and LUL. Keep an eye out around Acton works if you can! Vehicles in the 8s are these type of vehicles, though soon they will all be in the 9s (B901-B919) to indicate they are not standard response resources and are 'ring fenced' (B316 is not a callsign they will allocate to general calls, just emergency medical jobs, PUTs and LUL failures).

Aha it depends. Most of the catches in Worcester are either while I'm walking somewhere or waiting for something/someone. It can be anytime of day really, it varies - but they're most busy at lunchtime. Whereas in Birmingham and other places I purposely hang around spotting vehicles ;) You should - it's a great hobby. Lots of people involved these days. It's a hobby that gets you out there with a goal, with a camera and makes use of your senses ;)
