Went to fairford in 2003 to see the B-52's , as I was parking up , one came into land , right overhead, about 2 hours later , two took me off then waited all day nothing but a guy told me to hang on five minutes more , sure enough and Apache circled us watching , then flew low along the flight line of incoming aircraft , then circled a few times and just hovered to the side then sure enough a big light in the distance and it was an incoming B-52 , could almost touch it

Is that a heavy booster rocket to push starship for SpaceX ?

This is a Falcon 9 booster. This one launches SpaceX's workhorse vehicle, the Falcon 9. The Super Heavy for Starship is considerably larger.

Amazing how big it actually is and funny because falcon 9 is actually a fairly small size rocket compared to others .

Yeah, all the launch images don't do it justice. It is huge. And yet it is small compared to Starship Super Heavy.

Man, Space X does it the hard way, in Star Wars they would just fly back to the earth and land and take off again without needing a rescue! 😂

From 2002 to 2024, SpaceX has raised ~$10B. From 2002 to 2024, the total budget of NASA was $435B. If capital was the only mighty unlock needed, NASA would own the moon and we’d be celebrating the opening of the first McDonalds on Mars by now. From 2002 to 2024, SpaceX has raised ~$10B. It must feel amazing to be the head of all this bad ass military power and precision. Whatever else the US Presidency is, it makes a damn impressive entrance everywhere it shows up. At least they don't waste all the money.

Now that's something most of us don't see every day! Remember though, that that is SpaceX' _small_ booster. It does make me wonder how, or indeed if, they're going to be moving Starship Superheavy boosters between launch sites or if SpaceX will just build a factory near each launch center and build the superheavies locally. The Starships themselves can of course be delivered to each launch site via low orbit. Personaly I think that if they do move superheavies, the best way to do it would be with a largish RoRo, one with a cargo deck headroom of at least 10 meters.
