The wildlife wont use the net tunnels right away, though the rare few may. The plan would be to set these up and gradually, over the next 1-3 generations of the local wildlife, the wildlife will learn that the net tunnels are a much safer route to cross the road than on the ground. Cities here in the U.S. have started doing this as well. The cities that started programs lie this decades ago have seen overwhelming success with lowering small game roadkill in rural and most urban areas that have these programs in place. The trick is to just give the animals time to figure it out.
