The problem is he can't force entry for a misdemeanor arrest without a warrant. As soon as he pried the outer door open he committed a crime. Sticking a foot in the door to draw assault charges is an old game.

Same here!!! This actually made me giggle thinking of my grandma. When i was a little girl we were pulled over on the way home from the store. I had found some neosporin in the glovebox and made a mess trying to put some on a cut. I found an old coupon to wipe it off and threw it out the window. A cop saw me toss it out and stopped us for littering. My grandma drove me back to where i threw it out and made me search for it and pick it up to throw it away when we got home. I will never forget that day! My grandma was the sweetest old lady, i sure miss her!💖💕
