Polina’s style of play is just flawless…silent but deadly groundstrokes. Newcomer on the tour and not at all surprised she’s in the final by the way she plays. Well done Polina 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

This Russian player knows how to maximise the court. When she hits a good solid groundstroke and pushes her opponent out wide or deep, she does the dropshot FURTHEST AWAY from the opponent. That's clever or logical. Sabalenka is starting to do dropshot and coming in to volley to complement her powerful groundstrokes. I hope Rybakina's coach is teaching her how to keep her game short instead of the hitting deep groundstrokes left, right and right, left. Osaka is another player who does the same. Power her strokes all the way. Very one dimensional. What if her power game doesn't work or she meets another who over powers her? I always wonder what do some coaches work on with their players. .same old game play and reinventing the wheels?

Polina did great. Strange editing though. We saw Kalinina make just one point. Hopefully next highlights will be more balanced.

The Russian and Belarusian players have the good intention of coming to the net and shaking hands with the Ukrainian players, but because the latter are so dramatic and silly, well, Russian players don't waste their precious time. IMHO! 🤷🏻♂️🙏🏻👌🏻🇨🇴♥️🇷🇺
